Board Chair- Rick Giarla: I was president of the Waxhaw Athletic Association, and PTO president of both Waxhaw Elementary School and Parkwood Middle School. I am a Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran.
Vice-Chair-Anna Blood: I am the owner of Blood Law. A full service law firm located in the heart of downtown Waxhaw. Practice areas include Family Law, Wills and Estates, Personal Injury and Criminal Defense.
Treasurer-Helen Gutshall: I have an accounting degree from Kennesaw State University. I have worked as an accountant in the manufacturing industry for over 20 years. I served as the band booster club president when my children attended Piedmont HS.
Secretary-Sanna Tucker: I was born in Finland and attended its public school. I understand apprenticeships and I know the good it can do for young people. In addition to Apprentice Academy, I serve as the volunteer Coordinator for Kids First of the Carolinas and Recruitment Coordinator for the Hornets Nest Girl-scouts.
Member-Yan Greben: I was born in Europe so I am very familiar with the importance of apprenticeships. I went to college in America where I studied where I studied chemistry and business management. Now I work in the IT field and got my start with an apprenticeship.
